1. Who we are

Verifeed ("we", "us") is run by Jaafar Barada, an individual. These terms apply when you visit verifeed.org or create an account. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use Verifeed for a company, you confirm you may agree for it.

2. What Verifeed does

You ask a research question. We send it to several AI research platforms, split their answers into individual factual claims, and check each claim against the sources the platforms cited. Each claim in your report gets one of three statuses:

  • Confirmed: the original publisher states it, or at least two sources on different websites state it, and no source we read contradicts it.
  • Disputed: at least one source we read contradicts it. We show both sides; we don't pick one.
  • Unverified: we could not confirm it, for example because the source was behind a paywall, could not be read, or did not state it.

A status describes what the sources we read say. It is not a guarantee that a claim is true. Platforms agreeing with each other never counts as evidence.

Verified research is not open yet. When it opens, features and limits may change, and we will describe them on the site.

3. AI, and what a report is not

  • Reports are produced with AI. AI makes mistakes, and sources can be wrong or out of date.
  • Check the facts that matter to you against the linked sources before relying on them.
  • A report is research. It is not investment, credit, legal, medical or other professional advice, and it is not reviewed by a qualified professional.

4. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Verifeed to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it;
  • research private individuals or build profiles of them. Verifeed is for questions about markets, companies, organisations and public matters;
  • get around spending limits, sign-in, or any other technical restriction;
  • copy or scrape the site automatically, or resell access to Verifeed;
  • serve people or organisations in places, or on lists, that the sanctions and export rules we and our providers follow do not allow.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

6. Your questions and reports

  • Your questions stay yours. We use them only to run your research, which means sending them to the AI research platforms that answer them (see the Privacy Policy).
  • You may use your reports for your own work, including sharing them with your colleagues and clients.
  • Quoted source text belongs to its publishers. Each quote links to its source; follow the publisher's terms if you reuse it.
  • The Verifeed site, software and design belong to us.

7. Payments

Nothing is on sale yet, and we charge nothing. Prices on the pricing page are planned prices. Before we take any payment we will publish the payment, cancellation and refund terms here, and you will see them before you pay.

8. Other websites

Reports link to websites we don't run. We are not responsible for their content or their terms.

9. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@verifeed.org. We may close or suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law stops us.

10. Our responsibility

We work to make every status match its rule and every source link work, but Verifeed is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a report, or for losses caused by errors in the sources or in the AI's answers. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law gives you that cannot be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or on the site before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Lebanon. Disputes go to the competent courts of Lebanon, unless the law of your country gives you the right to use its courts.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms: support@verifeed.org.
